Hi! I own and manage WeeCOOK. 
I am a qualified and experienced chef who loves food! 
I hold a Scottish Higher (NVQ 3 equivalent) in professional cookery, disclosure Scotland and level 3 food safety certificates. 

I've over 10 years experience working in all sections of professional kitchens in establishments ranging from rural country hotels, city centre pubs and restaurants and 5 star hotel kitchens- including the Glasgow Hilton and Gleneagles Hotel's  2AA rosette award winning Strathearn restaurant.

I've worked at Braehead shopping centre's 'Love Food & Great Taste' events, and as part of 'A Taste of Angus' , Arbroath Sea Fest and Dundee Flower & Food festivals, I've also worked alongside the awesome Glasgow based events and catering company 'SCOOP' and award winning Edinburgh caterers 'Ginger Snap'. I run workshops and cooking classes for young parents with a Glasgow based charity. I also organise and facilitate food related activities and cooking clubs for children at events with my WeeCOOKIES clubs. I am currently the resident chef at Forfar farmers market and look forward to working with them running the kitchen for the first ever Angus Brewfest (Scottish Beer festival) on 17th October 2015. 

I'm experienced in event work, relief work, TV work, festivals, menu design, food costing and GP, staff recruitment, training and management, rotas, cook safe and HACCAP compliance, stock control, supplier relationships, quality control and managing a kitchen.

I love fish, fishing, and shellfish; I also have a weakness for cheese, prawns and supporting the Welsh Rugby Union team!!
